AFRASIA has taken part in several projects of different clients in and out of Turkey to which it contributed by providing engineering and consultancy services. The summary information regarding each Client given and their projects are listed below:


Operational Review for KOLIN Group at its Hekimhan Madencilik sites for integration of Mining with processing at its new Sintering facilities,   2012/2013.  Additional marketing studies and customer identification work was executed in 2014.

European American Equities on the Ferrocom Madencilik

Due diligence on Iron Ore Operations and Targets in Turkey, namely for European American Equities on the Ferrocom Madencilik assets and potential, i.e. Akdag and Tasiltepe Fields at Divriği in SIVAS, 2008 and 2009;


TEKFEN CONSTRUCTION, an affiliate of TEKFEN Holding Co., Inc., is a respectable business as an international contractor with major accomplishments in Turkey, the Middle East, North Africa, Caucasia & Central Asia, and East & Central Europe.   TEKFEN Construction is the EPC contractor of OCP (Office Chérifien des Phosphates) for “Slurry Pipeline for Khouribga Mine in Jorf Lasfar, Morocco” Project.    AFRASIA is the Design and Engineering Services Subcontractor to TEKFEN for this pipeline of 226 km total length which will take phosphate in a slurry form and will be completed in 29 months. 


RCR is a Turkish based mineral exploration and development company, which is currently listed in Toronto Stock Exchange.   The company focuses on base metals in Turkey and main projects are Hakkari Zinc Project, Tufanbeyli Zinc Project and Sivas Copper Project.   AFRASIA assists RCR on various aspects of consultancy e.g. mining engineering, mineral processing engineering, environmental engineering, support services, etc.  


Due diligence, acquisition, Exploration design and project execution, 120Mt Ore resource & reserve statement and competent persons reports production for EXXARO Madencilik at its Hekiman sites in Malatya, 2008 to 2010; EXXARO is a South African-based mining group, listed on the JSE Limited.    In 2007, EXXARO decided to seek opportunities to expand its business and operations in the territory through an association with AFRASIA, (under the name TWP EURASIA).   In this regard, AFRASIA rendered technical consultancy and support services to EXXARO between 2007 and 2009.   The main subject of the incorporation between EXXARO and AFRASIA was EXXARO’s iron ore exploration project in Malatya, Turkey.


Namibian Copper NL, listed in TSX, is a dedicated mineral explorer established in 2006 for the purpose of exploration, development and investment in the resources.   For Namibian Copper, AFRASIA conducted a study which included the collection and review of data for some prospective sites in Kyrgyzstan. 


AVES own approximately nine Asphaltite exploration licenses in South-east Turkey.   AFRASIA reviewed the previous studies conducted and provided an exploration plan for 2012. 


MINE RP EURASIA (former GMSI Eurasia) has secured a contract in 2011 from DEDEMAN Madencilik, a major mining company in Turkey and main activities include Copper and Lead & Zinc exploration and mining.   AFRASIA’s consultancy team is a subcontractor to MINE RP Eurasia in preparation of a Competent Person Report for many mining and exploration projects of DEDEMAN.   AFRASIA’s main contribution in this contract is in the areas of rock mechanics, processing, environmental engineering and techno-economics.


The AME Jamieson projects are conducted under an agreement with two companies Jamieson Group from Australia ( and AFRASIA Mining and Energy of Ankara Turkey to provide integrated services both in management consultancy -performance improvement, project management, training- and technical services - green fields exploration to mine closure.

The consultants from both companies are specialists in all end to end activities described under Project and Operation spectrum of mining business value chain from productivity improvement, business process re-engineering, project management and attitudinal and behavioral change as well as possesses multidisciplinary competencies from underground mining to process design, engineering and support. 


Afrasia executed a full company asset valuation study to SAMVAL standards as a basis for the sale of the company and/or partial sale of some of its assets to third parties.  The study was undertaken with some support for additional resources from Coffey Mining of Australia.
